Are you an experienced Test Technician with a background in electronics testing and fault finding? Join our client's fast-growing team in Weymouth and play a vital role in ensuring our high-quality electronic products meet safety and performance standards.


About the Role:

As a Test Technician for Electronics, you'll be responsible for carrying out manual and automated testing procedures on a range of electronic products. This role is ideal for someone with a hands-on approach, excellent fault-finding skills, and a strong eye for detail.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct both manual and automated testing on electronic products.
  • Perform fault finding and root cause analysis on customer returns.
  • Ensure all testing processes meet industry and safety standards.
  • Complete and maintain accurate documentation and test reports.
  • Carry out Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) and vibration testing.
  • Present investigation findings and reports to management.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing and engineering teams.
  • Follow all health & safety procedures and quality protocols.

What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar electronics test technician role.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and circuit diagrams.
  • Experience within electronic manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • A technical qualification (HNC, HND, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
