Test Technician for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Equipment

  • Rate: Up to £35 per hour (Outside IR35)
  • Location: Royston - 5 days onsite
  • Start Date: Monday 28th April
  • Contract Length: 3 months initially

KO2’s client is seeking a Test Technician to support the assembly and testing of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. This role requires hands on experience interpreting mechanical CAD drawings (in SolidWorks) to assemble complex systems, some with over 200 components.

As a technician, you'll follow precise mechanical CAD drawings to assemble, perform testing (including force and measurement), inspect assemblies, and document processes to GMP standards. Experience working in safety-critical industries (e.g., medical, aerospace, or automotive) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and follow mechanical CAD drawings (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Assembly of complex manufacturing equipment
  • Conduct force testing, measurement, inspection, and issue resolution
  • Accurately document test methods and results
  • Support reporting and build records
