About the Role

This is an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. The Test Technician's role involves executing, monitoring, and reporting on software and hardware tests to support the development of the OSP system.

• Reporting to the Test Lead.
• Travel within the UK may be required.
• The primary work location will be at Ocado's dedicated R&D site (Swiftfields Campus) or at the CFC site in the UK.
• Perform specific product development testing.
• Carry out commissioning activities.
• Testing and Prototype Commissioning include all OSP/OIA components: Bin, Grid, Bots, Service areas, Peripherals, and User software.
• Report test results and detailed findings/defects to facilitate issue resolution by development teams.
• Collaborate with Technology Project Managers and Engineering Project Managers on testing new components.
• Work out of hours or in shift patterns as needed to support site and testing schedules.
• Meet departmental and project deadlines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Use of tools or measuring equipment may be required during hardware testing activities.
