We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Test Technician to join this leading provider of electronic design and assembly services in Widnes, Cheshire.

About the role

As a Test Technician, you will work in our client's busy product test department and will be responsible for testing and verifying customer products under the guidance of the Test Team Leader.

Your duties will include:

• Testing a wide variety of customer products
• Maintaining associated test records
• Testing customer returns and generating repair reports
• Product configuration
• Diagnosing faults on customer products
• General maintenance duties related to equipment and the test environment

About you

The role of Test Technician would suit a hands-on person eager to develop their skills in electronic product testing. You must be / have:

• A keen eye for detail and an aptitude for delivering ‘right first time’ results against challenging deadlines
• Good general computer skills
• Experience with electronics and test equipment (preferred but not essential)

About the hours and rewards

Full training will be provided for the Test Technician role, along with opportunities to obtain relevant qualifications through internal or external courses. You will receive an excellent starting salary from £23,000 per annum, plus:
