Job summary

Terry Parris Associates Ltd. is seeking a skilled Test Technician to join a leading manufacturing team in Pulborough, West Sussex. You will test power supplies, support production activities, and generate reports to ensure products meet exact specifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow test procedures accurately and meet standard times.
• Proficient in using oscilloscopes, function generators, digital power supplies and multimeters.
• Soldering and rework to IPC standards.
• Experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Test power supplies to precise specification requirements.
• Provide hands-on manufacturing support, including basic mechanical assembly and production assistance.
• Complete test reports and documentation in line with customer requirements and Quality Management System standards.
• Carry out product upgrades and modifications to assemblies and finished products.
• Interpret and implement engineering changes from documentation.
• Identify product quality or performance issues and raise non-conformances where required.
• Liaise with Design Engineering, Test Equipment Design, and Sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product performance.
• Work in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, contributing to environmental improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Working within a manufacturing cell, you will ensure products meet specification requirements and support the wider production process to deliver high-quality solutions to customers.
