This is more than just plugging things in and ticking boxes — it's about understanding the "why," digging into faults, and making sure every unit that leaves the floor is built to perform flawlessly.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Testing high-spec products in line with detailed test specifications

  • Completing clear, accurate reports and documentation for every test

  • Inspecting and validating parts and assemblies against engineering standards

  • Diagnosing faults down to component level, including PCBs

  • Recording root causes and findings into internal systems

  • Supporting the maintenance of test equipment and your working area

  • Working closely with engineers and production to meet schedules and quality targets

What You’ll Bring
  • 3 years’ experience in a test technician or similar hands-on electronics role
  • Experienced in fault-finding to component level, particularly on PCBs
  • Able to read and follow circuit diagrams, schematics and wiring drawings
  • Comfortable in a low-to-medium volume manufacturing or test cell environment
  • Proactive, curious, and able to work both independently and in a team
  • Good PC skills – especially Microsoft Excel
  • Physically able to handle products and follow safe manual handling practices
Desirable Extras
  • Exposure to oscilloscopes, multimeters, PSUs and general test bench equipment

  • Experience working on high-voltageor similar products

  • Involvement in new product test plan development

  • HND/HNC or equivalent in an electronics/engineering discipline

Why You’ll Love It There
  • Be part of a highly skilled, friendly team where your ideas are heard
  • Work on technically challenging, meaningful products every day
  • Develop your hands-on experience with test, inspection, and diagnostics
  • Play a key role in quality, performance, and process improvement
  • Enjoy stability, variety, and the chance to grow in your role
