Job Description:

Job Scope: Comprehensive testing of high complexity electromechanical products that form part of a marine radar navigation product range.

Job Functions:

1. Conduct comprehensive testing (including RF), fault-finding, rework, and assembly of electromechanical equipment to high standards.
2. Work from detailed procedures, drawings, documents, change notes, schematics, and instructions.
3. Perform operations such as soldering, wiring, crimping, drilling, filing, cutting, detailed rework of printed circuit assemblies, and application of mastic & adhesives using appropriate tools.
4. Check and inspect own work and others', including troubleshooting and problem solving.
5. Assist in creating SOPs and test documentation.
6. Manage data entry via the company's data management system.
7. Maintain a proactive, detail-oriented approach and work effectively in a team environment.
8. Ensure work area cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
9. Support operations with additional tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Strong problem-solving, numeracy, and literacy skills.
• Experience in RF testing, fault-finding, rework, and assembly to high quality standards.
• Proactive, detail-oriented team player.
• Proficient in PC use, especially Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Experience in cellular manufacturing is advantageous.
• Knowledge of radar systems is advantageous.

Experience Required:

Minimum 2 years in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
