Role Overview
As the Test Technician, you will be responsible for all testing activities, including CDS (Custom Design Solutions) and Partner Development Projects on our Toughbook products.
Our Toughbooks are a range of rugged laptops and tablets designed to perform in the toughest conditions, and we are proud to be market leaders in this field.
You will need to use and maintain technical equipment to conduct Toughbook testing on both in-house designs and partner solutions.
How you will become part of the bigger picture..
As part of our team, you will:
- Use technical equipment to test products for performance, compliance, and safety:
- Environmental tests (high, low, shock temperature tests; humidity tests; etc.)
- Mechanical tests (vibration, drop, shock, cycle tests, etc.)
- Electrical tests (EMC, EMI, etc.)
- Record and interpret test results
- Coordinate with external test partners when required
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment and systems
- Set up Part and Model Numbers
- Ship items as required
- Occasionally support production activities (building units, etc.)
- Continuously develop personal skills following Panasonic Leadership Principles
What you will bring to the picture..
- Experience in a similar role within manufacturing or engineering environment (desired minimum 1 year)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to produce accurate and clear technical reports
- Strong communication skills for dealing with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and management
- Full driving license required

- Familiarity with automated production machinery and testing on such equipment
- Previous experience with technical reporting in product testing
- Knowledge of Toughbook products and ecosystem
- High self-motivation, optimism, and determination
- Strong judgment and problem-solving skills
