Engineering Manager at Link Cable Assemblies Ltd

Your Role:

In this role, you’ll be supporting our Engineers and Production Operators by:

• Maintaining product test assemblies and production equipment.
• Developing new test solutions as part of our NPI process.
• Developing automated test programs for cable assemblies.
• Providing first-line support for equipment breakdowns.
• Overseeing preventative maintenance procedures and documentation.

Permanent, on-site working, 37 hours per week full time.Immediate start.

About You:

We’re looking for someone mechanically minded with “hands on” practical experience who brings a keen eye for detail and a flexible approach to working.Ideally, you’ll have experience in a manufacturing environment with electrical / mechanical machinery maintenance.

Other skills and experiences which would be beneficial:

• Experience using automated test equipment such as Cirris.
• Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Cable assembly, wire preparation and soldering skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• A good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
