Test Technician – Basingstoke

The responsibilities of the Test Technician will include:
• Setting up and operating test equipment to carry out functional and performance testing
• Conducting electrical, mechanical, or environmental tests on products and components
• Accurately recording test data and reporting non-conformities
• Reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings and test specifications
• Performing basic equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting
• Working closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve any issues
• Following SOPs and maintaining a safe, clean working environment

We are looking for a Test Technician who:
• Has 3–5 years of experience in a test, QA, or electronics manufacturing environment
• Is familiar with testing procedures for electrical or mechanical products
• Can read technical drawings and understands quality standards
• Has good root cause and problem-solving abilities
• Works well independently or within a team
• Ideally has experience with automated test systems (ICT, functional testers) and an understanding of ISO or Six Sigma principles
