Job Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Test and Testability Architect to join our team, specializing in missile architecture within the defence sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for specifying and optimizing factory pass out testing, supporting integration and diagnosis of test issues, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage. This role requires SC Clearance and British nationality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Factory Pass Out Testing: Specify the missile factory pass out testing, working with manufacturing teams to optimize the factory test stages.
• Integration Support: Support the integration of the factory Test Equipment (TE) with the unit under test, helping to diagnose and resolve any issues.
• Test Failure Resolution: Support the project with the diagnosis and resolution of any test failures found during production.
• Built-In Test Functionality: Specify the missile built-in test functionality and place technical requirements on the equipment teams to achieve this.
• Test Coverage Analysis: Analyze the test coverage achieved from the tests, recommending areas for improvement and identifying any acceptable gaps.
• Technical Requirement Specification: Write the TE Technical Requirement Specification and Statement of Work for factory and in-service TE, considering the needs of various stakeholders.
• Delivery Management: Manage the delivery of the TE from the TE Centre of Excellence (CofEx), facilitating interactions between them and the wider project.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in test and testability architecture, particularly within the defence sector.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in test equipment integration and diagnostics, and excellent communication abilities.
• Security Clearance: Must be SC Cleared and a British National.
