Job summary

Insight Global is hiring a Test Manager to support a major cruise line client in Southampton, United Kingdom. The role is a long-term contract (initial 6 months) inside IR35, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring time at the client’s Southampton office.

The candidate should bring hands-on testing experience, including leadership roles such as Test Lead or Test Manager, and be capable of steering testing strategies for complex enterprise integrations.

Job description

Insight Global is looking for a Test Manager to join one of our large cruise line clients! This position will be supporting there Maritime Asset Strategy Transformation (MAST) Programme. For this position we are looking for someone with hands on experience, while being Junior to Mid-level within their testing career.

This role will be a long-term contract beginning at 6 months (Inside IR35), with the high chance to extend. You will expected to follow a hybrid schedule, attending the clients office in Southampton, United Kingdom.

Targeting the following skillsets:

• Software testing experience, including experience as a Test Lead, Test Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Experience developing test strategies, testing frameworks, and QA documentation to support testing maturity and governance initiatives.
• Strong experience testing web-based applications, APIs, and integrations with external systems.
• Deep understanding of enterprise Asset Management systems, ideally AMOS, AMOS-X, or ITsynch.
• Experience managing testing activities across the full project lifecycle, including requirements, planning, execution, defect management, and release support.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to present testing strategies and quality metrics to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading testing teams and removing delivery blockers to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and/or Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Strong understanding of compliance, governance, and QA best practices.
