Job summary

BAE Systems in Warton is seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead testing across a secure digital platform within the FCAS programme. You will define and drive the test strategy across multiple agile teams, ensuring quality, security, and reliability on a high-impact project.

The role requires proven Test Manager experience on large programmes, strong Agile background, and hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.

Hybrid Working - 3 days on site per week

6 month contract initially £53.24 Umbrella per hour Inside IR35

We’re looking for an experienced Test Manager to lead testing across a secure digital platform within the FCAS programme. You’ll define and drive the test strategy across multiple agile teams, ensuring quality, security, and reliability on a high-impact project.

• Lead and implement end-to-end testing strategy
• Embed quality across agile teams and stakeholders
• Drive test automation, performance, and security testing
• Manage risks, environments, and test delivery reporting

What we’re looking for:

• Proven Test Manager experience across large programmes and worked in the Aerospace sector.
• Strong Agile (Scrum/Kanban) background
• Experience with test automation frameworks & tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills

Work on a critical programme, shape testing at scale, and be part of a collaborative engineering environment.
