Job summary

Resillion is seeking an experienced Test Lead to own end-to-end ERP/SAP testing across transformation programmes. You will collaborate with clients, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to ensure robust, fit-for-purpose solutions and real business value.

The role requires strong test leadership, SAP ERP expertise, and the ability to steer multiple workstreams in fast-moving environments. Hybrid role with 2 onsite days at customer sites in the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading testing on ERP and SAP implementations or transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of the full software testing lifecycle and modern test practices.
• Experience creating and implementing test strategies, plans and governance.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead end-to-end test delivery across ERP/SAP programmes.
• Develop pragmatic, risk-based test strategies, approaches and plans.
• Lead test teams and coordinate testing across business, functional, technical and integration workstreams.
• Work closely with SAP/ERP functional teams, developers, business analysts, project managers and senior stakeholders.
• Drive SIT, UAT, regression, integration and end-to-end testing.
• Establish effective test governance, reporting, metrics and quality gates.
• Manage defects, risks, dependencies and test environments through to resolution.
• Provide clear and credible reporting to programme leadership and client stakeholders.
• Support cutover, deployment and go-live readiness activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, automation and overall quality engineering capability.
• Mentor and develop other testers, helping to build a high-performing testing culture.

We’re looking for an experienced Test Lead to join us permanently and play a key role in delivering high-quality testing across major ERP/SAP transformation programmes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines strong test leadership with genuine ERP/SAP expertise and thrives in complex, fast-moving environments. Experience within FMCG, retail, manufacturing or similarly high-volume, customer-focused sectors would be highly desirable.

The opportunity

As Test Lead, you’ll take ownership of the testing strategy and delivery across significant ERP/SAP programmes. You’ll work closely with clients, delivery teams, business stakeholders and technical specialists to make sure solutions are robust, fit for purpose and ready to deliver real business value.

You’ll have the opportunity to influence how testing is delivered, shape best practice and lead teams through challenging transformation programmes – from strategy and planning through to execution, defect management and go-live.

What You’ll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an accomplished Test Lead / Senior Test Manager with a strong track record of delivering complex ERP testing programmes.

Essential

• Proven experience leading testing on ERP and/or SAP implementations or transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of the full software testing lifecycle and modern test practices.
• Experience creating and implementing test strategies, plans and governance.
• Demonstrable experience leading test teams and managing multiple testing workstreams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to operate at programme and senior leadership level.
• Experience across complex integration and end-to-end testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• A pragmatic approach – you know when to challenge, when to adapt and how to keep quality at the heart of delivery.

Highly Desirable

• Experience working within FMCG, retail, manufacturing, supply chain or consumer products.
• Experience with large-scale SAP transformation programmes, such as SAP S/4HANA.
• Exposure to SAP modules such as SD, MM, PP, FI/CO, WM/EWM or similar.
• Experience with test management tools and/or test automation.
• Experience supporting major go-lives and cutover programmes.
• Relevant testing qualifications such as ISTQB.
