Job summary

Proactive.IT Appointments Ltd. is seeking an experienced Test Lead to oversee testing across SIT, UAT, regression, end-to-end and performance initiatives. You will coordinate internal teams and external suppliers to ensure audit-ready quality across technology and business change projects.

The role requires strong planning, defect and stakeholder management, plus knowledge of APIs, data validation and non-functional testing within regulated environments. This is a hybrid, permanent position.

Qualifications

• Experience leading testing within financial services or another regulated environment.
• Strong test planning, defect management and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience testing complex technology and business transformation.
• Knowledge of APIs, integrations, data validation and non-functional testing.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Zephyr or TestRail.
• Understanding of Agile/DevOps, automation, CI/CD and cloud technologies.
• ISTQB Foundation (or equivalent).

Test Lead - Permanent - Up to £60,000 - Hybrid 2 days per week on-site

We’re looking for an experienced Test Lead to join our team and help deliver high-quality, reliable and audit-ready testing across technology, business change and operational initiatives.

Reporting to the Test Manager, you’ll lead testing activity across SIT, UAT, regression, end-to-end, performance and operational readiness, while coordinating internal teams and third-party suppliers.

You’ll bring:
