Job Title: Test Facility Project Engineer

Location: Bristol

Working Pattern: Full-Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Test Facility Project Engineer to join the Test Facilities Design Office based in Bristol.

The Test Facility Project Engineer will act as the technical interface between the customer and operations to support the verification testing of gas turbine engines and rigs.

Role Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and execute test activities for the Bristol Test site, including Development Rigs, ensuring delivery within time and budget constraints.
• Manage project requirements, interpret data, and coordinate test activities to meet customer objectives.
• Act as the technical liaison, communicating project status (budget, schedule, risk) to stakeholders.
• Provide technical coaching and support to engineers on engine testing issues.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of test facility capabilities to mitigate project risks and ensure design requirements are met.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree qualification preferred or equivalent industry experience.
• Membership of a professional body and working towards an APMPQ qualification or similar.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in technical project management.
• Experience in development or experimental disciplines.
• Strong communication skills.
