Overview:The Test Manager is responsible for overseeing the testing activities within a project or across multiple projects, ensuring that software products meet quality standards and business requirements. This role involves planning, coordinating, and managing testing efforts, including functional, non-functional, automated, and manual testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and schedules.
• Lead and manage a team of testers, providing guidance and support.
• Coordinate testing activities across different teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure test coverage and traceability to requirements.
• Manage defect tracking and resolution processes.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Monitor and report on testing progress, risks, and issues.
• Evaluate and select testing tools and frameworks.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and practices.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM).
• Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Typical Background:
