The Role - Test Equipment Calibration Technician

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Technician with extensive expertise in test equipment sustainment and calibration to join a prominent engineering business in Swindon.

You will be responsible for calibrating and sustaining deployed Test Equipment throughout its full product lifecycle within the production engineering department.

The systems involved include mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, electrical, software, and power distribution domains, so a broad engineering background would be advantageous.

• Perform calibration activities on measuring instrumentation
• Maintain and adjust electronic instrumentation
• Perform maintenance on active test equipment hardware
• Support calibration of new Test Equipment Systems
• Maintain accurate calibration records, certificates, and documentation
• Collaborate with engineers to investigate and resolve issues affecting production
• Support root cause investigations related to Test Equipment Systems or components
• Assist with internal and external quality audits of deployed Test Systems or sub-components
