The Role - Test Equipment Calibration Technician

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Technician with extensive expertise in test equipment sustainment and calibration to join a prominent engineering business in Wolverhampton.

You will be responsible for calibration and sustainment of deployed Test Equipment covering the full product lifecycle across the production engineering department.

The systems involved include mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, electrical, software, and power distribution domains, so a broad engineering background is advantageous.

• Perform calibration activities on measuring instrumentation
• Maintain and adjust electronic instrumentation
• Perform maintenance on active test equipment hardware
• Support calibration of new Test Equipment Systems
• Maintain accurate calibration records, certificates, and documentation
• Collaborate with engineers to investigate and resolve production issues
• Support root cause analysis related to Test Equipment Systems or components
• Assist with internal and external quality audits of deployed Test Systems or sub-components
