Job Title: Test Equipment Calibration Technician

Location: Wolverhampton

Job Description:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Technician with extensive expertise in test equipment sustainment and calibration to join a prominent engineering business in Wolverhampton.

You will be responsible for the calibration and sustainment of deployed Test Equipment covering the full product lifecycle within the production engineering department.

The systems involved span mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, electrical, software, and power distribution domains, so a broad engineering background would be advantageous.

• Perform calibration activities on measuring instrumentation.
• Maintain and adjust electronic instrumentation.
• Perform maintenance on active test equipment hardware.
• Support calibration of new Test Equipment Systems.
• Maintain accurate calibration records, certificates, and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers to investigate and resolve issues affecting production.
• Support root cause investigations related to Test Equipment Systems or components.
• Assist with internal and external quality audits of deployed Test Systems or sub-components.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft applications.
• Experience as a Test Engineer, Test Technician, Calibration Technician, Mechanical Technician, Development Engineer, Sustainment Technician, Test Equipment Engineer, or similar roles.
