HM Land Registry is recruiting five Senior Test Engineers to join the Transformation and Technology team. The role focuses on driving best practices, improving testing frameworks, and supporting new teams with technical startups and tooling development.
You will work with lead engineers to assess systems, mentor others, and resolve impediments while upholding high standards of quality, security, and compliance across critical national infrastructure.
It is an exciting time for HM Land Registry (HMLR) as we continue on a major transformation programme. HMLR's ambition is to become the world's leading land registry for speed, simplicity and an open approach to data. HMLR are recruiting for 5 Senior Test Engineers to join our Transformation and Technology team to help us achieve this. HM Land Registry's existing software systems and services form part of the critical national infrastructure, safeguarding land and property ownership valued at £8 trillion. This enables over £1 trillion worth of personal and commercial lending to be secured against property across England and Wales. You will work across projects and alongside test managers assisting new teams start technical frameworks, documenting new approaches and process and helping resolve technical impediments. You will work closely with the Lead Test Engineer to innovate, predict and resolve technical issues before they occur to help smooth advancement. Main Duties include:
The qualification is essential for this role and failure to attach it will result in your application not being progressed any further.
You must also attach your Certificate for ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing or Degree level or equivalent in Computing.
You will then be invited to complete a short assessment. This assessment will be emailed to you through CS jobs. If you pass the assessments you will receive a full sift score. If successful at sift, you will be invited to attend a virtual, blended interview, which will be held through Microsoft Teams which will include a 10 minute pre-prepared presentation. Further information will be provided to those invited to interview. Interviews will be held shortly after the sift.
