DWP Digital is hiring Test Engineers to help build and maintain digital solutions used by nearly every person in the UK. You will work with developers, designers and fellow testers, shaping designs and building automated tests to ensure services work reliably as they evolve.

You will apply risk-based testing to focus on accessibility, usability, security and performance, while keeping CI/CD pipelines running smoothly and sharing clear updates on quality and risk.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java and/or TypeScript with modern engineering practices.
• Experience building and maintaining automated tests for UI and APIs, and contributing to frameworks.
• Experience across the testing lifecycle from understanding needs to production, including defect management.
• Comfortable with agile ways of working and shift-left principles (CI/CD).
• Knowledge of performance, security and accessibility testing.

• Collaborate with developers, designers and testers to deliver services relied on by the UK public.
• Build automated tests early in development and shape designs to ensure tests remain robust as services evolve.
