ASC Connections in Birmingham is seeking a Test Engineer within an established engineering and manufacturing business developing complex engineered products. Salary circa £45,000-£48,000, with sociable hours and a lunch-time finish on Fridays.

You will prepare and operate test rigs, install instrumentation, collect and analyse data, and produce clear reports to support product validation against performance, durability and customer requirements. The role sits in the Test & Development team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Test Engineer, Test Technician or similar.
• Hands-on with assembling and setting up mechanical test equipment.
• Familiar with test rigs, data acquisition and environmental chambers.

Responsabilités

• Prepare test samples, rigs, equipment and fixtures for testing.
• Run tests per procedures and validation plans.
• Monitor tests, record results and identify trends.
• Produce structured test reports and communicate findings.
• Support test‑failure investigations and improvements.
