Test Engineer
Based in Bangor
Salary GBP 25k per annum

Our client is a global organization seeking to expand their team due to increased workload. The role involves testing software and hardware designs that influence the company's products and services across various sectors.

What You Will Accomplish Here

The engineering team is looking for an entry-level Test Engineer. The main responsibilities include:

  • Developing an understanding of technical requirements and regulations
  • Understanding client expectations and additional testing requests
  • Researching and applying specific rules or requirements
  • Developing and executing test methods aligned with technical and client specifications
  • Documenting test results and identifying defects
  • Managing projects within budgets and timelines
Communication and Client Coordination
  • Building and maintaining professional relationships with clients
  • Understanding client needs and market context
  • Proactively communicating testing progress to relevant internal and external stakeholders
Experience, Education, Skills, and Credentials
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in engineering, science, math, or related technical fields (preferred)
  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Relevant certifications or training may substitute educational requirements
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Proficiency in C++ or other object-oriented programming languages
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail, quality, and deadlines
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
