Overview

hackajob is collaborating with AXA to connect them with exceptional tech professionals for this role. AXA Health’s Digital team is investing to transform and deliver new digital services for customers and to streamline business processes. This opportunity is for an experienced Test Engineer to join the Engineering team to support delivery of the digital roadmap, develop capabilities, and drive improvements across teams. The role is within a product-led operating model aligned to value streams, with a focus on developing our Single Digital Platform based on Salesforce, a significant .NET estate, Azure services, and React frontend web applications.

As a Test Engineer, you will learn about recent technology trends, influence organizational decisions, and collaborate with engineers to achieve common goals. The team values collaboration, continual improvement, and a motivating atmosphere.

AXA supports flexible working arrangements, allowing balance between home and office. You will work at least 40% away from home, with travel or office presence likely as the role progresses. Local office locations include Leeds, Middlesbrough, Bristol, Tunbridge Wells, and Bournemouth. Flexible arrangements can be discussed with Talent Acquisition.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Work as part of an Agile delivery team to identify bugs early in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline handover times and define completion criteria
  • Manage automated test pipelines, increase test reliability, and optimise coverage
  • Join the AXA Health Test Guild and contribute to a community of test professionals

What You’ll Bring
