It’s an exciting time to join the Digital team at AXA Health, with significant investment planned to transform and deliver new digital services to our customers, and to streamline and automate business processes.

We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join our Engineering team, contributing to our digital roadmap, developing our people and capabilities, and supporting our engineering strategy to drive improvements across all teams.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a product-led operating model, where teams align with value streams to take ideas from conception to completion with minimal handoffs. Our current focus is on developing our Single Digital Platform, based on Salesforce, involving a significant .NET estate, Azure services, and React frontend web applications.

As a Test Engineer, you will learn about recent technology trends and influence organizational decisions. Our engineers are highly collaborative, respect opinions, and strive for continual improvement. You will contribute to a motivating atmosphere where people are energized and enthusiastic about achieving goals.

At AXA, we promote flexible working, allowing you to work at least 40% from home, with the majority of your work from September 2025 possibly from your local office or traveling for business. Our office locations include Leeds, Middlesbrough, Bristol, Tunbridge Wells, and Bournemouth. Flexible arrangements are available upon discussion.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Join the AXA Health Test Guild and be part of a community of test professionals
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience testing web frontends and APIs
  • Creative and exploratory manual testing skills
  • Experience writing and maintaining automated tests against .NET and React
  • Agile development experience
  • Ability to conduct non-functional testing (Compatibility, Accessibility, Performance)
  • Azure pipelines experience is desirable
  • Knowledge of Playwright, BrowserStack, Percy, K6, or Axe DevTools is desirable

Eligibility to work in the UK is a precondition.
