A leading transport industry company is seeking a Validation Engineer in Derby. You will be responsible for Certification and Validation activities, working closely with teams to develop testing methodologies. Ideal candidates will have a Higher National Diploma in Engineering, knowledge of train systems, and experience in software validation. The role offers a permanent contract with a salary of circa £45,000 - £50,000, alongside benefits including 25 days annual leave.

Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your validation expertise in a new cutting-edge field.
You’ll perform the Certification and Validation activities for part of the train delegated by the Train Validation Engineer during project execution. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business to develop test operating modes and analyse test results, defining and implementing the most appropriate testing methodology and means of testing and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of writing the Train test procedures, but also carry out type, validation or investigation tests, and preparing reports.
