Creditsafe is seeking a Senior Test Engineer for its Customer Management Platform team in Cardiff. The role involves testing cloud-native software, enhancing automation frameworks, and collaborating in an Agile environment. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in performance testing, API testing, and a commitment to quality across the development lifecycle.
Join Creditsafe’s internal Customer Management Platform team—our foundational platform for authentication, provisioning, and auditing services. We're seeking a Senior Test Engineer with experience in testing cloud-native software systems and a commitment to supporting quality across the development lifecycle.

You’ll work in an Agile team extending a platform that supports millions of transactions daily. You will:
Collaborate with team members to embed quality across the lifecycle.
Use and enhance test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Bruno, Azure DevOps).
Engage in functional, non-functional, and acceptance testing.
Use generative AI tools to improve processes and reduce manual work.
Document and communicate test outcomes clearly and concisely.
Develop and maintain automated and manual test artefacts.
Apply a variety of testing techniques (e.g., performance, integration, acceptance).
Collaborate on requirements analysis and test planning.
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline quality through effective regression testing.
Mentor and support others within the QA community.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Agile development experience.
Familiarity with ATDD, BDD, and test automation.
Proficiency in Python or JavaScript for automation.
Experience with AWS cloud-native services and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP, and API testing tools.
Understanding of CI/CD processes (Azure DevOps preferred).
Ability to document and review technical artefacts effectively.
Clear communication and teamwork.
