Summary:

SafeNet Assured Technologies, LLC protects the U.S. Federal Government's most sensitive information systems. As a U.S. based company, SafeNet Assured Technologies' sole mission is to provide high assurance data security products and technology to Federal Governments. A successful candidate will assist the Engineering and Quality Assurance teams by designing and executing test suites, configuring the lab and test setups, developing scripted automated tests, and performing special projects to advance proof of concept efforts. This is a fun and fast-paced role that can grow in a number of directions based on the candidate's strengths and special interest areas. A strong communicator and collaborative team player is a must.



Qualification Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship is required.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Information Technology

Required Skills/Knowledge:

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl and Python


• Basic knowledge of network and cyber security concepts


• Solid understanding of LAN/WAN and client/server protocols and technology


• Experience with Linux and/or Windows environments


• Excellent diagnostic and trouble-shooting skills


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be a team player, and manage priorities


• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and comfort communicating with third parties

Desirable Knowledge (in priority order):

• Agile development process


• Additional software language skills (e.g., C, Java)


• DevOps, CI/CD


• Automated test development

Essential Duties:

• Assist the Engineering and Quality Assurance teams by designing and executing test suites


• Configure the lab and test setups


• Develop scripted automated tests

Physical Demands:

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines


• Occasional extended hours as project demands arise


• Prolonged computer use.


• Lift computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Working Conditions:
