Job description

At CGI, we're shaping the future of quality engineering by helping clients embrace innovation, automation and emerging technologies to deliver better business outcomes. As a Test Consultant, you'll work across diverse clients, industries and technologies, bringing fresh thinking and adaptable expertise to solve complex quality challenges. Whether you're enhancing automation, exploring AI-driven testing or helping teams improve their approach to quality, you'll have the freedom to take ownership, experiment with new ideas and continually develop your skills. Supported by a collaborative community of experts, you'll build a varied and rewarding career where curiosity, adaptability and a passion for learning make a lasting difference.

CGI was recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2025 and has been named a UK 'Best Employer' by the Financial Times. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you'll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We'll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.

Due to the secure nature of some of our programmes, you may need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. As a Test Consultant, you'll work within a flexible hybrid model, with working arrangements varying depending on client and project requirements. As future assignments may involve different locations and ways of working, you'll need to be adaptable, with the possibility of occasional travel to CGI offices or client sites across the UK.
