We are looking for a Test Architect to lead the development and implementation of test and testability strategies throughout the product lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with design and manufacturing teams to integrate test considerations from the early stages of development, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and effective diagnostic capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and oversee test requirements for design teams, ensuring adequate test access, Built-In Test coverage, and factory test functionality.
• Assess and model system test coverage to identify potential gaps and develop detailed diagnostic procedures.
• Work alongside the Chief Design Engineer to evaluate trade-offs between cost and test coverage, optimising overall system efficiency.
• Partner with manufacturing and design teams to guarantee the final product is fully testable and aligns with quality standards.
• Define and implement comprehensive testing strategies for production, in-service maintenance, and BIT routines to support operational effectiveness.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in test, electrical, or electronic engineering.
• Expertise in one or more of the following areas: digital electronics and microprocessor-based systems, analogue electronics and circuit design, electronics testing methodologies and strategies, or the development and design of test equipment.
• Ability to gather requirements, oversee projects, develop strategic plans, and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
