Rolls-Royce Measurement & Test Engineering organisation is recruiting Electrical Design Engineers to support expanding and maintaining their global Aerospace Engine Test Facilities portfolio. The team designs infrastructure for testing next-generation gas turbine engines for Civil and Defence applications.

Your responsibilities:

• Developing electrical engineering designs and calculations
• Capturing requirements and writing specifications and reports
• Overseeing manufacture, installation, inspection, and testing of designs
• Collaborating with CAD and engineering teams
• Supporting design reviews and approvals
• Developing verification schedules and supporting testing procedures
• Ensuring safety and legislative compliance

Qualifications and experience:

• Minimum HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in electrical design within a project environment
• Experience in technical report writing and design evaluation
• Self-motivated with good interpersonal and planning skills
• Knowledge of standards such as BS7671, IEC 61508/61511, and familiarity with electrical design software

Additional desirable:

• Chartered status or working towards it (CEng or IEng)
• Experience with Siemens NX / Teamcenter
