Burges Salmon is seeking a Test Analyst to join its collaborative Testing team in the UK. You will own testing activities across diverse technology and business change initiatives, ensuring thorough testing and successful delivery.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers and stakeholders to design, execute and manage test plans, cases and UAT, while guiding business users and improving testing practices.

Formación

• Experience as a Test Analyst or in a similar software testing role.
• Experience leading testing activity and taking ownership of deliverables.
• Knowledge of functional, integration, regression and UAT testing.
• Experience using tools such as Jira and TestRail.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• A structured approach to problem solving and quality assurance.
• The confidence to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
• ISTQB Foundation qualification would be beneficial but isn't essential.

You'll work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, suppliers and business stakeholders to ensure quality remains at the heart of delivery.You'll:Lead testing activities across a range of projects and system changes.Design and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts.Carry out functional, integration, regression and user acceptance testing.Manage defects through to resolution using tools such as Jira and TestRail.Support and guide business users through the UAT process.Monitor testing progress and communicate risks, issues and outcomes clearly.Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing standards, processes and ways of working.You'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of initiatives including technology transformation projects, new system implementations and wider business change programmes.

About you

We're looking for someone who combines strong testing skills with a collaborative and proactive approach.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience, working as a Test Analyst or in a similar software testing role,
• Experience leading testing activity and taking ownership of deliverables.
• Knowledge of functional, integration, regression and UAT testing.
• Experience using tools such as Jira and TestRail.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
