Tesco Travel Money Advisor - Tesco Hanley - Part Time
Job Type: Perm/Part Time • Hours per week: 16 • Salary: £13.00 per hour
Working Patterns: This job is flexible and requires the ability to work a variety of shifts between Monday to Sunday. Depending on the team, you will receive a monthly or weekly rota.

What you will be doing
- Nurturing and forming relationships with customers to understand their travel and currency requirements and tailor their experience based on destination
- Establishing yourself as a travel money ambassador and trusted advisor, providing support and advice on Travelex products and services
- Engaging with customers to process all foreign exchange transactions accurately and efficiently
- Delivering on key performance goals both procedural, operational and customer-focused
- Utilising a keen eye for detail to process daily online FX requests and deliveries
- Implementing best practice legal and regulatory standards and adhering to Travelex compliance procedures
What you will need
- Numerically proficient — capable with numbers as you will handle cash and currency daily
- IT proficient — comfortable with computers and till/order systems; full training provided
- Great communicator — able to talk with people, listen, and understand needs
- Desire to succeed — driven to make a difference and deliver positive customer experiences
Interview process
- Step 1 – Talent Acquisition Partners or Bureau Managers review applications and conduct an initial screening
- Step 2 – Online interview with a Talent Acquisition Partner, including a numerical/accuracy test due to handling large amounts of money
- Step 3 – Bureau visit with the Bureau Manager to discuss day-to-day responsibilities and workspace
- Step 4 – Offer to join Travelex if successful; if not, detailed feedback will be provided
