Job Title: Tesco Travel Money Advisor - Tesco Bursledon (Southampton) - Part Time

Job Type: Permanent, Part Time

Hours per week: 18 hours

Salary: £ per hour + Monthly Bonus

Working Patterns: Flexible shifts between Monday to Sunday, with a monthly or weekly rota.

About the Role:

As part of the Tesco team, you will support retail customers with foreign exchange services, ensuring a positive travel experience. Your role involves building customer relationships, providing advice on Travelex products, processing foreign exchange transactions accurately, and adhering to legal and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Build relationships with customers to understand their travel and currency needs.
2. Act as a travel money ambassador, providing support and advice.
3. Process foreign exchange transactions efficiently and accurately.
4. Achieve performance goals related to procedures, operations, and customer service.
5. Handle daily online FX requests and deliveries with attention to detail.
6. Follow legal, regulatory, and company compliance standards.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Numerically proficient, comfortable handling large sums of cash and currency.
2. IT proficient, with basic understanding of computer and till systems.
3. Excellent communication skills, able to build relationships and listen effectively.
4. Driven to succeed, with a positive attitude and customer focus.

Interview Process:

1. Initial screening call with Talent Acquisition or Bureau Manager.
2. Online interview including a numerical and accuracy test.
3. Visit to the bureau for a face-to-face interview and environment tour.
4. Job offer following successful bureau visit, with reference checks.
