Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced retail environment with variety and uphold store standards.
- Take ownership of running duty shifts, coordinating the team to deliver a clean, well-stocked store that exceeds customer expectations.
- Be available for customers, listening to their needs and helping ensure they leave with what they came for.
- Identify ways to improve service, including coaching colleagues and providing feedback to the team.
- Guide and support colleagues in-store to maintain a safe place to work and shop.
- Maintain understanding of store performance and assist managers in delivering actions to improve operations.
- Lead from the front and set a positive example for colleagues in all aspects of the role.
Availability and hours
- Availability window typically includes days and times as advertised; hours may be scheduled within these windows with three weeks’ notice of shifts.
- Minimum guaranteed hours policy: a minimum of 16 hours per week for new colleagues, with options to work a minimum of 12 hours if requested.

- Be a great role model with thoughtful customer service to meet customer needs.

- Be a clear communicator using multiple methods to keep the team informed.
- Be comfortable leading in the absence of the Store Manager and making sound decisions.
- Be flexible in thinking and capable of handling change to benefit customers and colleagues.
