Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a Shift Lead to supervise store teams during scheduled shifts, ensuring a great in-store experience for customers. Your hours will be set within the availability windows (Mon 07:00–16:00, Thu 13:00–22:00, Fri 10:00–19:00, Sat 13:00–22:00) with a minimum of 16 hours per week and shifts planned three weeks in advance.

You will lead colleagues, coordinate across store areas, coach staff, and model outstanding service while adapting to change.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
