About the role

Availability Window

Days: Wed 14:00-23:00, Fri 05:30-14:30, Sat 14:00-23:00

Pay Rate

Starting from £14.76/hour; increases to £15.97 inside M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week; options for fewer hours (minimum 12) are available.

We schedule shifts within your available times, with 3 weeks’ notice. We support flexibility and are open to nearby availability.

About the Role

Customers are at the heart of everything we do. As a Shift Leader at Tesco, you'll support store operations, help customers, and ensure a smooth shopping experience. You'll face challenges overseeing store activities, making improvements for customers, colleagues, and communities.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Work in a fast-paced retail environment with variety
  2. Manage duty shifts, coordinate the team to keep the store clean and stocked, exceeding customer expectations
  3. Assist customers, ensuring they leave satisfied
  4. Improve service through coaching and feedback
  5. Support colleagues, ensuring a safe working and shopping environment
