Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a confident Shift Lead to guide store teams, ensuring outstanding customer experiences across all areas. You will coach colleagues, communicate clearly, and react quickly to daily challenges while maintaining a positive, inclusive environment.

You will lead in the Manager’s absence, build strong relationships, and adapt to changing priorities, supporting Tesco’s purpose to serve customers and communities responsibly.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
