A major retail company in Wallsend is seeking a Shift Leader responsible for coordinating daily store operations and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will supervise the store team, drive service improvements, and support colleagues in a dynamic retail environment. The position requires individuals who can lead, communicate effectively, and work flexible hours. Competitive pay starts from £14.76 per hour.
Days and times: Sundays to Saturdays, 06:30 to 23:00. The advertised availability windows indicate when contracted hours will be scheduled. You will be scheduled with 3 weeks’ notice of exact shifts. We support flexibility where times align closely with the advertised windows.
Shift Leader pay starts from £14.76 per hour and increases to £15.97 per hour for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week. If you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too and would love to hear from you.
The availability window shows the periods during which we’d like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have three weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility, so if the times you are available are close but not exact to the advertised times, we’d still love to hear from you.
