Availability Window — Days and times vary by week. Sun 09:30–16:30, Fri 09:30–22:00, Sat 09:00–21:30. The table shows the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available to work. Availability windows are used to schedule contracted hours with 3 weeks' notice of shifts. We are happy to support flexibility if your available times closely match our advertised times, even if not exact. Read more in the available information.

Pay — Our Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 per hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.

It's our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you'd like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too and would love to hear from you.

You will be responsible for
  • Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; delivering natural service
  • Being knowledgeable about products and services within the store
  • Working across service, picking and replenishment areas as required
  • Applying training to work safely, effectively and to serve customers brilliantly
  • Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering store routines that meet customer needs
  • Taking part in seasonal, community and charity events to create a welcoming atmosphere
  • Understanding store performance and how the role contributes to service, sales, waste reduction and profitability
  • Handling products with care to maintain quality for customers

  • Occasionally you may be required to accept deliveries into the store
