Job Description:

  1. Availability Window: Days and times when shifts are scheduled, including specific days and hours, with flexibility encouraged.
  2. Pay Rate: Starting from £12.02/hour, increasing to £13.15 inside the M25, with additional night premiums for hours between midnight and 6am.
  3. Hours Guarantee: Minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12).
  4. Role Responsibilities:
    • Provide excellent customer service with passion and pride.
    • Be knowledgeable about store products and services.
    • Assist across various store areas including service, picking, and replenishment.
    • Follow training to work safely and effectively.
    • Make customer-focused decisions and participate in store events.
    • Understand store performance and contribute to sales, waste reduction, and profit.
    • Handle products carefully to maintain quality.
    • Represent Tesco values and policies, and accept deliveries as needed.
  5. Candidate Requirements:
    • Passion for delivering great service and building rapport with customers.
    • Ability to make decisions in the best interest of customers.
    • Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
    • Be punctual, well-presented, and a brand ambassador.
