Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). We are flexible regarding availability and willing to accommodate close matches to our advertised times.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent customer service with passion and pride.
  • Being knowledgeable about store products and services.
  • Working across various store areas such as service, picking, and replenishment.
  • Following safety and operational training to serve customers effectively.
  • Making customer-focused decisions and participating in store routines.
  • Engaging in seasonal, community, and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
  • Understanding store performance and contributing to sales, waste reduction, and profit goals.
  • Handling products carefully to maintain quality.
  • Living Tesco’s values and adhering to policies.
  • Accepting deliveries when required.
