A job that matters: Your Tasks
Our Territory Salespeople are the key to driving our business forward. Not only are they our brand ambassadors, proactively promoting our products to the industry, they support our distribution partners from the architectural ironmongery and construction industry, working with them to deal with technical queries, potentially advising on the best products for each application as well as keeping tabs with their business needs, to ensure we can supply as required. Therefore, we need individuals who have a real interest in our engineering, a desire to support our customers in their businesses, as well as who can create business opportunities.
Your primary focus will be to sell our door hardware and door closer products to our distribution partners across the territory. You will promote dormakaba as an organisation as well as collaborate with other dormakaba sales specialists from different sectors, seeking out opportunities for cross selling within our product portfolio. The role will mean both actively managing an existing client base, identifying and developing your new clients, and potentially introducing those partners to business opportunities outside of our scope to service. In short, there is a great variety in what you do.
As a Territory salesperson you should be comfortable with achieving / exceeding sales targets and developing & growing your customer base, as well as commercial and operational performance monitoring (via revenue and Margin) to ensure that new business and existing business goals are delivery as expected.
Experience that matters: Your Skills
Ideally, we are looking for individuals with 2-3 years sales experience within the Door hardware products sector, selling door hardware, door closers, locking systems or associated products. However, successful and motivated product salespeople from other sectors may be considered. You also need to demonstrate:
