Job description

Purpose Of The Role

Are you interested in working for a world-class, multi-award-winning field marketing agency, currently holding the title of Agency of the Year?

Do you like the idea of representing one of the biggest brands out there?

If so, this could be the role for you. As a full-time, permanent team member, you will represent the Ice Cream brands portfolio on behalf of Unilever, including Ben & Jerry's, Walls, and Magnum.

As part of the Dee Set team, you will work with colleagues responsible for enhancing Unilever's ice cream brands' performance, awareness, and availability across various UK smaller-format grocery retailers. You will be the eyes and ears of the brand, conducting retail store visits within a defined territory, with responsibilities to drive distribution, availability, sales, and brand engagement to increase turnover and market share using our data tools.

Responsibilities Of The Role
  1. Visit a mix of grocery and convenience stores to build and develop strong relationships with key decision-makers, adding value to the store.
  2. Use our data tools to identify insights and implement targeted interventions to improve the distribution and availability of our product portfolio.
  3. Negotiate with key decision-makers in store to ensure distribution and maximum availability of the Unilever Ice Cream brands, increasing sales and brand awareness.
  4. Act as the ‘eyes and ears' for the brand and Dee Set in-store by identifying problems, opportunities, and gathering retailer and competitor intelligence.
  5. Follow Dee Set's proven processes to make a positive difference for our clients.
  6. Deliver professional, efficient, and effective store visits.
  7. Accurately record all information on an iPad using bespoke software.

  1. Experienced in sales, preferably in the independents, wholesale, and convenience sectors.
  2. Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  3. A great communicator who can build credible relationships in stores.
  4. Passionate about building brand awareness and motivated by results.
  5. Skilled at delivering excellent store execution results.
  6. Data-driven, with the ability to analyze data to drive results.
  7. Holder of a full current UK manual driving licence.
