Technical Sales Manager / Healthcare / Assistive Technology

Location / Territory: Birmingham / West & East Midlands

Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales professional with a proven track record in driving new business and retaining existing clients within a growing, successful organization.

This role, as a key member of the Product Sales team, involves exceeding new business sales targets and maintaining business within the West and East Midlands Territories.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver the regional sales plan aligned with National Sales Manager targets.
  2. Serve as a product expert, providing advice and feedback to OTs, Technical Officers, and contractors.
  3. Engage with Local Authorities, Housing Associations, and contractors to meet targets, as agreed with the NSM.
  4. Complete assessments and bookings into ERP systems, delivering against targets within SLAs.
  5. Manage survey requests via ERP activities within SLAs.
  6. Package and sell third-party products alongside the company's offerings for domestic properties.
  7. Handle after-sales issues through meetings or communication channels.
  8. Follow up on all quotes generated by the NSM.
  9. Identify and develop new market sectors while maintaining existing ones.
  10. Keep accurate meeting notes and record information in HubSpot CRM.
  11. Use CRM proactively to record inquiries and interactions.
  12. Respond promptly to requests from line managers.
  13. Report customer complaints and product/process non-conformities.

Person Specification:

Knowledge of disability, its causes, and outcomes, or experience working with products promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life, would be advantageous. However, the right attitude, eagerness to learn, initiative, and integrity are essential.

Experience in solution-led technology, product-based sales, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
