Territory Sales Consultant - Northern Ireland

Job Description

The role of a Territory Sales Consultant is an excellent opportunity to drive the sales and product awareness of our products with assigned B&Q stores.

This role will be working across Northern Ireland including Coleraine, Newtownabbey, Holywood, Sprucefield, and Newry and you are required to be living in these areas.

This position is ideal for a sales professional with retail sales or service experience, who has coached or mentored others.

Responsibilities

As Territory Sales Consultant, your main tasks will be:

  • Establish strong selling relationships with store associates, store management, and other customer contacts.
  • Conduct product knowledge training sessions for all B&Q store teams. Training should include features, benefits, as well as selling skills and may include a demo of the products.
  • Continually promote and represent the brand and product strengths to B&Q store teams and consumers.
  • Identify opportunities in service/upselling and maximize resources at store level with solutions.
  • Maintain store signage, merchandising displays, colour chip, and colour card stock.
  • Utilize the CRM system to document sales calls and store visits.
  • Conduct events to promote products and to increase sales.
  • Ensure in-store activations and business activity are executed successfully in each store.
Qualifications

What we are looking for...

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, marketing, or merchandising.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring others.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, which includes a minimum of 2 Saturdays a month and bank holidays.
  • Valid driver’s license required for the role.
