Territory Manager / Regional Sales Manager / Sales Manager to join a leading, growing mechanical service provider of pump solutions.

Territory Manager / Regional Sales Manager / Sales Manager will work remote, based in Texas, Utah & New Mexico managing, leading and driving a sales team working with pump solutions.

Territory Manager / Regional Sales Manager / Sales Manager will ideally have a background in Pump Sales, working with diesel generated pumps, for dewatering, sewage and drainage applications.

Territory Manager / Regional Sales Manager / Sales Manager Role

  • Covering the West, leading and managing a team of outside sales representatives.
  • Providing training and support to new team members and refreshers for new product launches and sales strategies.
  • Assist in the recruitment of new salespeople.
  • Conduct regular meetings company & branch wide.
  • Support with Sales Support activities, including account development, customer visits, proposal and bid development.
  • Traveling to meet with customers, team members and other members of the management team.
  • Reporting to local branch managers.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
  • Working on pump applications looking into multiple industries, such as construction, water, municipal as well a general industry.
  • Attend key meetings, trade shows and customer events.
  • Selling a wide variety of pump and control-related products to key accounts across the US.

Territory Manager / Regional Sales Manager / Sales Manager Requirements

  • Experience as Key Account manager / Territory Manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales manager / Business Development Manager / Territory Manager / Sales Engineer / Outside Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer / Outside Sales Manager / Internal sales engineer or a similar job title.
  • An engineering or a business qualification of some sort would be beneficial.
  • Have sold Pump Systems such as Submersible, Two Stage Pumps, Vertical Pumps, Centrifugal Pumps Progressive Cavity Pumps or similar products, Rotating equipment would be considered.
  • 2+ years' experience in special equipment rental for industrial or construction applications.
  • Experienced with leading salespeople, managing teams of between 10-15 would be ideal.
  • Located in Texas, Utah or New Mexico with ability to cover the surrounding areas.
