Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate Territory Manager to promote Vermeer products on Vancouver Island. Responsibilities include driving sales in various industries, building customer relationships, and providing expert advice on our products. The ideal candidate has industry knowledge and a successful sales background.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage customer accounts and call on current and prospective clients.
  2. Present sales proposals, quotes, and process orders to meet customer needs and company standards.
  3. Resolve customer issues, provide solutions, and ensure excellent service.
  4. Analyze market trends, sales forecasts, and assist in marketing efforts.
  5. Support team efforts and represent Vermeer professionally in the field.
  6. Demonstrate equipment and provide operational and warranty information.
  7. Complete and submit reports and documentation timely and accurately.
  8. Adhere to company policies, including health and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Experience in heavy equipment sales.
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Proven sales record, preferably in recycling and forestry industries.
  • Sales or marketing certification preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license; Class A preferred.
  • Willingness to travel within the territory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SalesForce.
