Job description

We are looking for a Territory Manager to join the team. Reporting to the UK Sales Director, you will oversee account development within the Independent Retail sector across the North of England. Your role will involve proactively managing existing customer relationships, identifying creative ways to promote our products, securing new listings, and implementing point-of-sale (POS) solutions to enhance brand growth.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop a strong network and customer relationships, to increase partners engagement and commitment to the brand.
  • Optimise existing commercial relationships and actively pursue new business opportunities
  • Expand our presence within new retailers, as well as support National Account Managers in executing strategic initiatives across Department Stores (Housewares/Beauty & Grocery – both Food and Non-Food) and Mass Merchandisers, helping to drive broader business opportunities.
  • You will engage closely with your peers in Sales, Customer Service, Demand Planning & Logistics, Finance & Controlling in the UK.
  • Support with increasing sales and profitability by market strategy implementation, sales concept creation and active business management delivering sales pitch presentations
  • Achieve listings, create strong promotions, implement Planogram & POS strategies, optimize sales condition, negotiate prices, reliably plan demand & solve customer problems in line with JJ’s brand & market strategy
  • Participation in Industry fairs, specific events, and sales meetings
  • Constantly benchmark and collect market & shopper insights within your accounts and provide feedback to the Sales Director

What we need from you:

  • Experience working within a sales environment as a Field Sales/Territory Manager
  • Strong established relationship and network within accounts
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of accounts who deal in the housewares market is an advantage
  • Shares and shows entrepreneurial mind-set
  • Well organised, hard-working, and highly motivated
  • Strong presenter & excellent communicator towards customers, peers, and senior stakeholders
  • Analytically and numerically strong underlined by MS office skills
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • High Willingness to travel
